Simple skincare brand, Clae, tapped creative agency Mādin to help design the packaging for its hero product, Super Tallow.

Each element was carefully designed based on customer feedback, seamlessly merging sustainability with functionality. Also, the deep brown bottle color was inspired by earth, grounding Clae’s connection with natural ingredients.

Co-founder Stacie Trout spent years in the modeling world, where she was surrounded by mainstream skincare that eventually led to stubborn breakouts in her twenties. Frustrated, she dug deep and discovered the wonders of pure, non-toxic beef tallow.

She had her husband, Slater, and their best friend, Tyler, build a skincare brand rooted in truth and simplicity.

The new dual access packaging allows users to pump or scoop the product. Also, a built-in air draft insulation regulates product temperature for different environments.

Bottles are made with 30% post-consumer recycled material and are fully recyclable. The refill cartridge program reduces plastic waste by over 1,000 grams per customer, per year.

Clae’s new replacement cartridge program is a monthly subscription where customers receive a refill cartridge. Pop out the empty cartridge, pop in the new one.

Super Tallow is made from 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef Tallow. This single ingredient, unscented moisturizer deeply nourishes the skin barrier to protect, smooth, and hydrate, leaving your skin soft and radiant.
